The FSBOA manages and sponsors four major Sire Stakes series every year. The Florida Breeder Stakes, the Sunshine State Stakes, the Stallion Stakes and the Sales Stake. Results of these various stake races are posted as they occur.

CONSIDER THIS!  
In 1996, as a 2-year-old Florida-bred colt, Red Bow Tie established a new worlds record of 1:52.3 on a 5/8 mile track at Pompano Park, Florida. As a 3-year-old in 1997, the dominating colt paced a 1:50 flat.
Total earnings as of May 25, 2002 were
$2,673,920Red Bow Tie was offered at an FSBOA auction in 1995. The colt could have been purchased at a very reasonable price but, there were NO takers!

     The 2007 Sunshine State Stakes series in 2007 will consist of five (5) legs. They will get underway  at Pompano Park in Pompano Beach, Florida on Monday July 16, and  Wednesday, July 18,and continuing on Friday July 20 and 21.  The next leg (2) will race the following week with leg 3 scheduled to be raced  September 8 and the 2 remaining legs raced the following two weeks. The Sunshine State Stakes finals will Sep 26, 28 and 29. All races will take place in the evening, some prior to the pari-mutuel races and others races pari-mutuel. Post time for the pari-mutuel races is 7:25 pm.   (Refer to Events for complete schedule)
      All horses must have a charted flat line of 2:06 for pacers and 2:12 for trotters within 60 days of the entry date of scheduled stake races.
      
      Any interested individual or group which wishes to host a Sunshine State Stakes card at their facility in the future should contact the FSBOA Office at Pompano Park (954-972-5400) for details and requirements for hosting the events.
