Florida Owned Horses Definition

(PLEASE REGISTER AS FLORIDA OWNER WITH FSBOA AS SOON AS POSSIBLE)

Florida ownership must be established and registered with FSBOA prior to entry in Florida owned preferred events at Pompano Park .

Florida lessees and lessors of horses must meet the same criteria. Corporate entities owning or leasing horses must be Florida registered corporations (including LLCs) and each shareholder or member must also meet Florida residency requirements.

Residency Requirements must be presented to FSBOA as defined below:

         Current, valid Florida Drivers License; current, valid Florida Voter Registration Card, or any other current government issued ID (federal or state) that shows the address of the person on it (such as a U.S. Passport, Florida Residency ID Card) will be allowed as a valid form of ID for this purpose.

AND  one of the other proof of residency documents listed below (FSBOA may, at its sole option request owners seeking  to register as a Florida owner to provide other/additional documentation that it determines to be reasonable):

         Last income tax return (federal) filed using Florida mailing address

         Filed sworn declaration of residency with Clerk of the Circuit Court (Declaration of Domicile)

         Florida license tags on all vehicles (vehicle registrations)
