2012 FSBOA Directorships, Election
and Annual Meeting

2012) – FSBOA will hold its Annual Meeting on Saturday, April 14
at the FSBOA office. In preparation for the meeting and the naming
of Officers and new Directors, who will serve three-year terms,
nominations for Directors are now open until close of business
Friday, February 10 for the following positions:

Owner (incumbent Frank Smith)
Owner (incumbent Jamie Marra)
Trainer (incumbent Peter Blood) Trainer

Incumbents
seeking re-election and new candidates should submit their bios to
the FSBOA office on or before February 10. Ballots will be mailed
to all 2012 voting members and ballots must be returned by noon on
Friday April 13.

FOAL
LISTING INFORMATION
This Web site will list Florida foals
born in 2012 on the FSBOA Web site, free
of charge. Owners can fax, email or mail the required information about the foal. The
information that we need is as follows; date foaled, color, sex, sire,
dam, and owner or owners.
Please
forward the information to us as the foaling takes place. Do not
wait until the end of the foaling period of the year, as space available
can be a problem.

required to have the following documentation:
1. If
shipping in from out-of-state, a Health Certificate.
2. Current coggins - taken within one (1)
year of ship-in date.
3. The following immunizations:
East/west encephalitis
West Nile
Rabies
Rhino Herpes

Stallions in Florida
There are 22 registered
Standardbred stallions in Florida in 2012. If you follow the
link below, it
will take you to a Web page where each stallion is listed and from
there you can download a full pedigree (PDF format) of each of the
individual stallions. You MUST submit a Stallion Residency
Verification form when you register STALLIONS.

The Florida Standardbred Breeders and Owners
Association, Inc., is a non-profit organization with objectives of promoting the
Standardbred horse-breeding and racing industry in Florida. The FSBOA maintains a registry of
Florida-bred Standardbred horses to promote and determine the eligibility of such for
Florida-bred preferred races.
This web site contains information about stallions standing in Florida, special
Standardbred events taking place
throughout the year, stake race information, including payment schedules, eligibilities,
purses, and results. This site also will publish advertisements, at minimal cost,
relating to Standardbred services and articles offered for sale. Contact
the FSBOA for more information.
