Chapter 18 was found
After the anaconda left, Ruan Mianmian, like an agile monkey, quickly and carefully climbed down from the tree.
In truth, deep down she longed to encounter those mysterious orcs and find a safe and reliable place to live.
However, when faced with that enormous, terrifying anaconda, all expectations vanished instantly, replaced by endless fear and horror.
At that moment, she completely ignored the system's warning and ran wildly like a runaway horse.
At the same time, her eyes remained fixed on the map in her hand, not daring to relax for a moment.
Just moments before, as that terrifying anaconda appeared, the map miraculously displayed entirely new colors.
It was a deep, almost inky black, like a dark night shrouding the earth.
Even more astonishingly, a striking snake-shaped sign was clearly visible right where the anaconda had appeared.
After what had just happened, she could now definitively conclude that red represented extreme danger; blue symbolized a relatively safe place; gold meant a source of precious energy; and the mysterious black undoubtedly pointed to the legendary orcs.
Looking at the colors around her on the map, Ruan Mianmian felt safe for the time being. She kept running forward, unaware that the anaconda back in the treehouse was nearly driven mad by her disappearance.
The anaconda returned to the treehouse with the hard-won fruit in its coils, and as soon as it reached the tree, it smelled the scent of the little female.
Did she disobey him and run off again? In this Lala Mountain Range, there are many high-level beasts, and her life could be in danger at any moment.
Thinking of this, the anaconda quickly climbed up the treehouse and looked inside. Sure enough, the little female was gone.
The anaconda returned to the tree, its tongue constantly collecting the scent of females in the air. After finding the direction where Ruan Mianmian had run, it quickly gave chase.
The anaconda followed the scent left by Ruan Mianmian. He was extremely anxious, fearing that he would lose her if he hesitated even a moment longer.
Finally, he saw Ruan Mianmian running desperately ahead. He called out her name, but she was too frightened to stop.
The anaconda sped up, almost catching up with her. However, just then, with a splash, Ruan Mianmian fell into an unknown cave ahead.
The anaconda scurried over quickly, peered down, but found it completely dark inside and couldn't see anything.
"Little female," the anaconda cried anxiously.
After Ruan Mianmian fell in, she was initially in a daze, but then she was overcome with endless fear.
The cave was damp, and there were unknown little insects crawling around. The dripping water in the cave intensified her fear.
She tapped the system screen to check her current location. The winding terrain on the map indicated that she had likely fallen into the nest of some unknown animal.
There was no immediate danger around, so I stood up weakly to check my surroundings, only to find that I seemed to have twisted my ankle and couldn't muster any strength at all.
The anaconda above the cave tried to go down to find Ruan Mianmian, but the entrance was too small for its massive body to fit through.
The anaconda circled the cave and spotted some vines. A clever idea struck it; it used its tail to curl up a vine and reached into the cave.
"Grab the vines!" the anaconda shouted.
Ruan Mianmian heard the hissing sound of the serpent, and she knew that the snake-beastman was above the cave entrance. Suddenly, her fear lessened considerably.
Perhaps she subconsciously felt that the orc wouldn't hurt her.
Hearing a soft rustling sound from above, she saw vines being lowered down through the system screen.
After waiting for a while, she finally managed to grab the vine.
The anaconda pulled hard, dragging Ruan Mianmian out of the cave.
"Are you alright?" the anaconda asked with concern.
A constant hissing sound came from within, and Ruan Mianmian nodded, still shaken.
Although I couldn't understand what he was saying, judging from the current situation, he was probably asking how she was doing.
"Don't run around like that again next time," the anaconda said softly, her tone tinged with reproach.
The hissing sound came again, and Ruan Mianmian looked at the anaconda, her heart filled with gratitude.
She knew that if the anaconda hadn't arrived in time, she might never have made it out.
