Chapter 159 Unstoppable Momentum
Chapter 159 Unstoppable Momentum
Just as I was about to ask something else, a fly suddenly returned to report that it had been found.
I immediately stood up. Please, nothing bad should happen. What would we do if something bad happened?
I waited anxiously for the fly to fly in so quickly. What was going on?
"Found them! Your Majesty, the snow-white rabbit you mentioned, and a fly have been found!" the fly that returned with the news said anxiously.
"Perhaps because we flew too fast, I am extremely tired now," he said, panting heavily.
"What happened? Are they alright?" I asked hurriedly.
"When we found them, they were fine, but they said they were being chased by a snake. We originally wanted to bring them here, but they said they could only hide now, because if they went out, they would likely be discovered," the fly reported to me.
"Since you hid so well, how did you find it? If you could find it, how could you not find the snake?" I asked anxiously.
I'm afraid that by the time this guy comes back to report, the snake will have already found him. After all, snakes find things by body temperature, and they don't care about darkness.
Thinking about this, I became extremely anxious. I hoped nothing bad would happen. Just because we haven't found it now doesn't mean we won't find it later. Maybe by the time the fly comes back to report, it will have already been found.
"Where are you now? Take me there quickly," I said hurriedly.
So I was about to go with the fly that came back with the news, but the old fly kept coming back, so I quickly stopped him: "You can wait here for the news, I won't leave."
"Very well, I'll wait here for His Majesty's return," the old fly said very politely.
I don't have time to waste any more time talking to that old fly. I should hurry over and check on Dafu and Xue Tu first.
Led by the fly that came back to report, I hurriedly followed and flew away, hoping nothing bad would happen. After flying for a while, I came to a place that looked like a pile of stones, but there was nothing there.
"What about the flies and snow rabbits?" I asked anxiously.
"I was here when I left, so how come I'm not here anymore?" The fly that brought the news seemed very anxious.
"Dafu, Dafu!" I called out anxiously to those around me, but there was no response.
No way? Daifuku and Yukito got into trouble just as I was going back to report? I rushed around frantically, hoping to find Daifuku as quickly as possible, hoping they were nearby, but to my disappointment, there was no trace of them at all.
Just as I was getting very anxious, a fly suddenly flew back and buzzed at me, saying, "Your Majesty, I have been waiting for you here for a long time. Come with me quickly, your friend is being chased by that snake."
"Where? Take me there quickly." After saying that, I flew towards the fly that was waiting for me there.
Without saying a word, the fly carried me forward, and the three of us flies, like three unsheathed swords, charged into the dark woods.
After passing through countless leaves and dew, I finally saw a pure white rabbit standing cautiously at the top of a small earthen mound, looking down at the snake below.
"Beautiful lady, you'd better just give in to me. You can't escape now," the snake named Chuxin said smugly.
Why does this line sound so familiar? Now, not only have the villains in humans learned this phrase, but it has also spread to the animal kingdom?
"Don't come any closer, or I'll scream!" Snow Rabbit said, terrified.
Damn, that line sounds even more familiar. But is it even useful to say it now? Who's going to come to your rescue in the middle of the night in the middle of nowhere?
But my thoughts were clearly the snake's thoughts as well. Chu Xin said smugly, "Go ahead and scream, the louder you scream, the more I like it. But let me tell you, even if you scream your lungs out, no one will come to save you." Chu Xin said very smugly.
Are these snake and snow rabbit not already acquainted? Are they acting? The lines are so perfect, I'm almost embarrassed to even appear on screen.
"Twenty-two cents! Help!" Before the snow rabbit could even cry out, Dafu, perched on its head, cried out loudly.
"Don't worry, I'm only interested in the snow rabbit. As for you? I'm too lazy to even eat you. You'd better get lost before I kill you," the snake said smugly.
"How could I leave my best friend and run away when it's most dangerous? I won't leave," Dafu said loyally, perching on Xue Tu's head.
Although Dafu is a bit silly, sometimes his silliness is quite cute.
"Since you're courting death, then don't hold back!" Chu Xin shouted angrily, and then charged towards the snow rabbit on the hillside.
"Help!" Snow Rabbit cried out instinctively as the snake charged at it.
"Charge!" I charged forward with millions of flies.
Flies have no sharp claws or teeth, so it would be extremely difficult for them to fight a snake.
However, our advantage lay in the sheer number of flies, coupled with my command, which made this battle exceptionally easy for us. I ensured that every fly found something sharp that it could lift.
When attacking, they all strike at the same point. So why can mosquitoes insert their tiny tubes into the skin of other animals? It's because they can find gaps and weaknesses.
And I will do the same, under my command all the flies will attack the snake's vulnerable spots on the ground, and there will be a great many of them.
Aside from rolling on the ground to avoid our attacks, the snake could only try to escape. Fortunately, the snake wasn't stupid; seeing that all was lost, it desperately fled after being pricked a few times with the needle.
Faced with the sudden appearance of a large number of flies, Daifuku and Yukito were clearly bewildered. Could it be such a coincidence? Could they be saved just by making a noise?
"Are you alright?" I flew over them and asked.
"Twelve cents?" Dafu exclaimed happily.
In a flash, it rushed towards me, grabbed me, and almost made me fall from the sky.
"Yi Mao Er, I knew you would come back to save us. As long as I didn't reveal my secret, I knew I wouldn't die, and you would definitely come back to save me," Da Fu said, crying like a child.
"Alright, I'm back now, let go, there are so many flies watching us." I said, feeling quite annoyed.
Dafu finally let go of my arms, still crying, and said, "I thought I would never see you again."
"You just said you would definitely come back to save me, but now you're saying you'll never see me again. Which one should I believe?" I said half-jokingly.
"I don't know either, but it's so good that you're back," Dafu continued, crying.
"Okay, stop crying. Let's go to a safe place first, and then you can tell me what you've been through." I comforted Dafu as I flew towards the snow rabbit.
