Chapter 110 Escape
Chapter 110 Escape
Wu Yue didn't have to wait long before Has came back. He was scouting the orcs' movements not far from the first line of defense camp, so the soldiers found him easily. Has knew very well that Wu Yue would not look for him casually, and looking for him must mean that something happened.
"So, are you in trouble again?"
Although the question was asked in a questioning tone, from what Haas said, it seemed that he was already certain of this point. It seemed that he was very familiar with Wu Yue's behavior pattern.
Wu Yue did not deny it. He nodded and explained quickly and clearly.
"A group of snake people, you can call them Naga. I had some conflicts with them before, and they seem to be here too! And it seems that they intend to help those orcs to deal with us."
"Snake people!" Has repeated the enemy mentioned by Wu Yue. Suddenly, he thought of something and told what he found when he went out for reconnaissance.
"While I was out scouting, I noticed some movement above the lake you created with the meteorite. A number of strange buildings have been built above the lake, and inside them are creatures that walk on snake tails. These must be the Nagas you mentioned!"
Wu Yue nodded, and at the same time he was roughly certain in his heart that it seemed that the Naga planned to attack their camp from both sides at the same time, so what would they plan to do first!
Wu Yue suddenly thought of something and his face turned unhappy. He immediately grabbed Has's arm, took out the spell book and recited the spell.
Violent streams of blue-purple light lingered around them, and space became increasingly blurred as it twisted. Their bodies lifted off the ground, floating in mid-air before vanishing from the spot.
As the blinding white light flashed by, Wu Yue and Haas arrived at the campsite on the coastline. Workers were repairing the damaged boats. Most of the boats had been repaired, with only the final gap remaining. Seeing this, Wu Yue breathed a sigh of relief.
But the next moment, Wu Yue's joy faded. A fierce wind suddenly blew from the calm sea. The gust of wind forced all the workers and patrolling soldiers to stop their work and shield their faces with their arms.
Wu Yue once again concentrated his energy, strengthening the power of fate. Events gradually became clearer in his eyes. On the seabed, countless female Naga witches carved a huge magic circle. They chanted continuously, and the sea water gradually rose under the guidance of the magic circle, like a peacefully sleeping child being disturbed and wanting to cry and make a fuss.
Wu Yue controlled himself and stepped out of the scene conveying fate. He looked at the huge wave before him, which was almost as big as a building in his previous life, and thought about the response strategy. Haas, on the other hand, had already gone to evacuate the soldiers stationed there when he saw the huge wave.
“Sure enough, this is a group world!”
Wu Yue had just defeated the orcs, and after only a few days of wandering, he was slapped in the face by lightning speed. The huge waves before him were the result of the combined efforts of the Naga's numbers, geographical advantages, and their proximity to the coastline, which allowed for a strong sea breeze. Wu Yue had no way of dispelling these surging waves.
If he could fully harness the power of the world in Azeroth, that would be fine. However, within the world, all he could do was guide and transmit some of that power, which was completely insufficient. Outside of the world, the power the world could exert depended on itself.
"There is no other way, we can only escape!" Wu Yue thought, and then said to Has who was evacuating the soldiers over there.
"Hass, hurry up, notify everyone, get together quickly, I have a solution! Hurry up!"
Haas turned around and heard Wu Yue's words. He immediately began organizing all the soldiers to inform the others. Meanwhile, he wasn't idle either. He used his position to command the higher-ranking soldiers, asking them to use their influence to rally the lower-ranking soldiers. A group of people immediately gathered around Wu Yue.
The towering waves were approaching Zuldare Island, and the orcs' expressions were not looking good. Even if the huge waves didn't submerge the island, they would probably not have an easy time. After the water swept away the humans, it would be enough to wash their offshore camp directly into the sea. Red's eyes were solemn, and he cursed angrily.
"These salty, smelly fish don't even take us seriously!"
Utok calmly thought about the strategy, observed the current situation, and came up with a solution.
"Chief, we must first hold back the Nagas who remain here, then board our ship and flee from here!"
When the Naga left, they left behind a detachment, nominally to assist the orcs, but in reality, to provide surveillance, their purpose being to prevent the orcs from delaying the humans' escape before the great wave arrived.
But now, due to a lack of trust between the two sides, the orcs did not launch the attack first, but waited for the naga's move. And they were right. The moment they saw the waves, they immediately understood what the naga were thinking. Fortunately, the naga's remaining forces were small, so they only needed a few orcs to provide cover, and the rest could leave.
Utok seemed to have made up his mind and said to Red resolutely:
"Chief, please lead the clan's warriors away from here. I will hold these snake people back!"
"We will never flee, Utok, we are orcs! It is our honor to die in battle!"
Red refuted Utok. Even though he was irritable, he felt deep down that dying in battle was not a bad thing.
"You need to complete the warchief's mission. This is not for you, but for the future of all orcs, Chief! You must leave, leave here!"
After Utok finished speaking, he summoned the orcs under his command without hesitation and then encouraged them.
"Warriors, today we will fight to the death on this island about to be submerged by the waves, against the Naga who bear us a blood feud! But our sacrifice is not in vain. Our compatriots will be able to escape this island because of us, and we will not flee. We will uphold the glory of the orcs and fight to the death. We will all become heroes. We are the glory of the orcs!"
"lok tar (orcish)"
Following Utok's encouragement, the orcs who followed him were all excited. They decided to stick to this camp. They would become the heroes of the orcs and the glory of the orcs. Death might take their lives, but it could never erase the deeds they had done. They all shouted:
“lok tar“
“lok tar“
Red looked at Utok, his eyes filled with shock. He had always thought that this orc, descended from Orgrim, was only capable of scheming and intrigue, but this scene now seemed to raise a huge question in his heart.
"Is it right that orcs only focus on killing now?"
Then he shook his head and threw the idea out. He looked at Utok and the other orcs who stayed here, and thought silently in his heart:
"I will remember you!"
Then Red Blackhand summoned the Blacktooth Grin Clan and boarded the ship. This was a great shame for him, as he actually escaped from the battlefield, but he would wash away this shame soon!
