Chapter 151 Founding Ceremony

Chapter 151 Founding Ceremony

On July 7th of the 15th year of the New Era, in a huge and magnificent square on the Orc Plains, delegations from various countries and orcs sat around the square, waiting for the birth of a new superpower. Before the founding ceremony, the delegations below the stage were not idle and began to comment on this brand-new country.

"Is it a joke that the grand founding ceremony of the nation was held in a square built on a plain?"

"Exactly, exactly. Look at how poor this country is. It's just that it has a large land area. To put it bluntly, even the towns in our rural areas are probably better than theirs."

At this moment, an envoy from one of the countries glanced at these people with disdain and couldn't help but sneer, "Fools, you haven't even seen the terror of the enemy yet, and you're already so arrogant. You deserve to be driven south by your own people."

"Grigri, what the hell did you say!" The dark-skinned human envoy stood up and angrily rebuked the goblin kingdom envoy 'Grigri' in front of him.

Grigari chuckled and said, "What's wrong? Did I touch a sore spot for your Black race? Hundreds of years ago, you lived in the fertile lands of the northern humans. You promoted the 'Black Lives Matter' policy, selling all other races as slaves. Some were even so desperate that they sold their own people. This oppression eventually led to a rebellion by all the other races. The united resistance drove you to the south to compete with us for food. You should be glad that when you moved south, you brought a lot of ironware and equipment, and that the Black race is the strongest and most prolific race among humans. Otherwise, we would have wiped out all of you invasive species long ago!"

The Black Clan envoy, 'Gale,' instantly flew into a rage. He drew his scimitar and slashed at the attacker, roaring, 'You're asking for death!'

Grigory deftly dodged the attack, pulled out his spiked club, and smashed it into Gar's wrist, knocking the weapon from his hand.

Gar let out a wail, then clutched his injured wrist and glared at Grigory, threatening, "I'll remember this grudge. Just you wait until after the founding ceremony, I'll definitely kill you!"

Grigory turned around indifferently and said, "If this weren't the scene of the founding ceremony, you would already be dead." Then he sat back down in his seat, while Garr angrily led his delegation away from the square.

Seeing this, Grigory's companion questioned, "You don't need to make things so tense. We already don't have a good relationship with the Black Clan."

Grigory responded calmly, "I just can't stand some people who have no ability but love to brag."

His companion thought for a moment and said doubtfully, "It's not exactly bragging, but this country really does seem a bit...backward."

Gregory stomped on the floor tiles and said, "Look at what the floor tiles under your feet are made of. If you had really looked at them carefully, you wouldn't be spouting such brainless nonsense."

Upon hearing this, his companion bent down and pressed himself against the ground, tapping the tiles while simultaneously thrusting his sword twice. The pristine white tile surface instantly shattered, revealing the metallic sheen beneath. He then looked up at Grigari in astonishment, before leaning closer and whispering, "Mithril tiles?!"

Grigory nodded calmly and whispered, "Yes, every brick we're standing on is made of priceless mithril alloy. If you look closely at the seats you're sitting on, those patterns aren't decorations at all; they're real magic arrays!"

"You mean they're going to..." As he spoke, his companion made a throat-slitting gesture and looked at Grigory nervously.

Grigory shook his head, denying it, "It shouldn't be. There's no need for them to go to such lengths to kill us. These magic arrays and the mithril on the ground seem to be protecting us. I don't know why, but... this ceremony is definitely going to be a big event. So remember not to be arrogant. Underestimating your enemy will definitely cause big problems. Putting aside everything else, just think how terrible it would be if these mithril blocks under your feet were used to equip the troops?"

Grigory's companion suddenly realized what was happening and looked around at the disdainful delegation and the self-important 'nobles' who were criticizing the country. In his eyes, those people had now become complete fools, a bunch of idiots who only saw the surface but not the murderous intent in the shadows.

"If they want to be the only country on this continent, do all of us countries together... have a chance of winning?"

Grigory sighed, "I don't know, but all our thoughts will be confirmed after this founding ceremony."

Just as the audience was still discussing, suddenly dark clouds gathered in the sky and a humanoid creature wearing golden armor and a crown appeared in the sky. At that moment, a soul transmission appeared in everyone's mind.

"I am the king of this country, Agreed Tutankhamun Presidian Rael. Welcome everyone here. Today, my country is about to be established here. I cordially invite you all to witness this great moment and the great founding of the 'Duchy of Shadows'!"

The envoys below burst into laughter. 'Shadow Principality'? This name really shows some self-awareness. What kind of good person would name their country like that!

But they didn't know that this was a name Argreed had specifically chosen to carry on the legacy of the Shadow Council.

Agreed doesn't care about others' ridicule, because sooner or later this name will keep every nation on this planet up at night.

Then Agreed's voice continued, "So I declare the founding ceremony now open..."

With a deafening boom, a massive ray of dragon breath blasted the golden armor flying through the air. Agred's telepathic communication abruptly ceased. Envoys from various countries looked up to see a group of colossal dragons suddenly appear in the sky. The enormous dragon horde obscured the sun. The leading silver dragon proclaimed, "I, the current patriarch of the Silver Dragon Clan, 'Elirian,' have led the entire Metal Dragon Clan here to vanquish the undead! All bystanders, make way!"

The envoys below were so frightened by this scene that they hurriedly stood up and tried to escape. However, a powerful suction force emerged from the chairs they had just been sitting on and pulled them back firmly. No matter how much the envoys struggled, they could not escape the control of the chairs.

At that moment, a huge portal appeared in the center of the square, and Agreed, dressed in a mage's robe, appeared in everyone's sight with Hea, Kasa, Brecel, and Lester through the portal.

Upon seeing Agreed, Elirian exclaimed in surprise, "You're not inside that golden armor!"

Agreed chuckled and said, "I knew dragons love extravagance. Based on your usual thinking, you would definitely assume I was inside that armor. So I specially created that puppet to make you all reveal your whereabouts. After all, it would be a pity if this good show ended before all the characters had appeared."
