Chapter 158 Warhammer - The Excited Tarachin

Chapter 158 Warhammer - The Excited Tarachin

Just as Vision deleted Ultron's traces of the network outage, now Tarachin's traces have also been deleted by Dio. Before Tarachin went out again, Dio even shut down all his escape routes.

Only then did they release control over Tarasin!

"Oh, it's you guys. What do you want?"

Taracin didn't struggle; he stopped moving as soon as he saw the God-Emperor and Dio.

It was obvious that he knew who the two people in front of him were.

His voice was hoarse, like the sound of a cassette tape scratching.

"I remember, we don't have any dealings with you, do we?" Tarasin asked the God-Emperor, seemingly knowing the Emperor well.

The God Emperor tightened his little face, looking expressionless, yet still quite adorable.

The God-Emperor looked at Tarasin and pointed to Dio beside him, saying, "The Human Empire needs to ally with the Fearful Ones. We need to utilize your technology, and he is here to help you achieve your ideals during this period."

Tarasin looked at the God-Emperor and said, "Didn't we change our name? You call us Space Necromancers."

Tarasin's words were relatively flat, but there was a hint of mockery in them.

"And ideals?" Tarachin was somewhat puzzled by the God-Emperor's words. He didn't look at him anymore, but instead looked at Dio and said, "I know you."

"A transmigrator who claims to be from another world?"

"To be honest, when I was in Terra, I read some of their novels, which mentioned some so-called time travelers."

"But those are all unrealistic fantasies!"

"However, I haven't seen you before. It's like you appeared out of nowhere; there was no trace of your existence in the past!"

As Tarasin spoke, his body began to regenerate metal, transforming into a magnificent and towering metal body identical to the one in the outside collection.

"I knew you weren't from this world when I saw you leading a team of Astartes a while ago!"

"So, friends from other worlds, what price would you pay to help the human empire form an alliance with us?"

Dio stood with his hands behind his back, looking at Tarasin and said, "After your race was tricked by the Star God, didn't you want to return to your former physical bodies? I can help you."

"Lies!" Tarasin slammed the scepter, which had appeared out of nowhere, down with a heavy thud!

"Even our technology couldn't succeed, so what right do you have to say you can? Just because you're from another world?!"

Tarasin spoke faster, and it sounded like his tone became urgent.

Dio nodded: "Yes, because I come from another world!"

Taracin was taken aback, tilting his head. He was somewhat surprised that Dio would so readily admit it.

“In other worlds, creating a physical body from nothing is not difficult. What is truly difficult is that after your thoughts were reincarnated into this mechanical body, your souls were devoured by the Star God!” Dio patiently explained.

“Soul?” Tarachin heard the familiar word again and took two steps back.

"Does the soul exist?"

In response to Tarasin's question, the God-Emperor replied, "The technology of the Fearful Dead is indeed powerful, but you have all encountered the Ancient Saints and Star Gods. Their strength is so great that it cannot be matched by technology. I believe you have this concept."

"Even the subspace exists, and all sorts of demons and gods exist, so why don't you believe in the existence of the soul?"

Taracin looked at Dio, whose rusty, brass-colored face was somewhat frighteningly illuminated by the green halo.

He asked with a puzzled tone, "You said your souls were devoured, so how can we return to our bodies?"

Dio was not surprised by Taracin's question.

"Do you know what the difference is between humans and machines?" Dio asked.

Tarasin stepped back again, looking somewhat puzzled.

"The difference? We've never thought about that question, while you humans have spent time pondering it."

“You should know this better than we do.”

Dio nodded: "Well, you're right, humans have indeed had such thoughts in the past."

"Humans possess complex cognitive abilities, enabling them to think abstractly, solve problems, learn new skills, and have self-awareness. Machines, on the other hand, while capable of performing complex tasks, typically have cognitive abilities limited to specific, pre-programmed tasks."

"Humans possess a high degree of creativity and adaptability, enabling them to create works of art, invent new technologies, and adapt to ever-changing environments. Machines, on the other hand, have limited creativity and can usually only innovate within the framework set by humans. Their adaptability also depends on programming and updates."

"These are just two very simple points I've pointed out. You can make a comparison to see what your relationship with machines is like."

Upon hearing this, Taracin's mechanical brain and thought matrix had already begun comparing the information the instant Dio opened his mouth.

Clearly, he already had a result in mind and was somewhat interested.

With a pleading tone, she asked, "Are you... telling the truth?"

"of course not."

Dio's words made Tarasin pause, and he looked at him in even greater astonishment. If Tarasin still had a physical body, he would probably be so angry that he would vomit blood!

“Didn’t you just say…” Taracin hurriedly asked, but was interrupted by Dio.

"These reasons don't actually confirm whether you are still human, but when I found you through the internet, I discovered that there is a soul in your mind matrix, or rather, a fragment of a soul!"

"It must have been brought in when you were transmitting your memories and thoughts, because I sensed that many fragments of souls were sleeping in those matrices that stored the soldiers' memories!"

Tarachin was startled, and his metallic body began to tremble, as if he were both afraid and excited.

soul!

What is the soul?

Those who fear death are those whose souls have perished and whose bodies have turned into metal. Although they still retain memories and the ability to think, they have also lost all emotions.

That would be considered genocide.

While some souls do exist within the bodies of space necromancers, they are all fragments of souls, some so few that they are merely tiny bits of debris.

The fragment of Taracin's soul was the largest piece Dio had ever seen. Perhaps this is why Taracin did not fall asleep and liked to wander around the galaxy, collecting various artifacts.

And what Taraxin and Dio just said—that a person needs a body and a soul to be considered a person—does that mean that those of them who still have fragments of their souls can return to their original state?

"But if it's just a fragment of a soul, is it impossible to be resurrected?" Tarasin asked, trembling.

Dio nodded, but then shook his head.

"A single fragment of your soul cannot bring you back to life in your body, but I have the means to repair your soul and reshape a fragment back to its original form."

"Ohhhhhhh!" Tarasin's mechanical body trembled and let out an excited shout.

The god-king Tarasim, who was visiting nearby, was taken aback by this move.
