Chapter 146 DC - Running Away Running Away

Dio has already dealt with all of Darkseid's generals, except for Kalibak who hasn't returned yet, the Mantis who is missing, and the Parademons who haven't been deployed. Now, only Dio himself remains.

"Huh? Where's the mantis?" Dio snapped out of his daze and instantly located the mantis using telepathy.

The mantis was sneaking around in a corner of the hall, his target being Hyperion, who was confronting Darkseid!

"I can't let you bother others like that." Dio used his psionic energy to turn the mantis to ashes.

Dio's actions could not be kept secret from Darkseid, and the Omega rays that had been clashing between him and Hyperion were directly separated.

The two beams were designed to block Hyperion's atomic beams with one beam, while the other beam, after making several turns, delivered a kidney strike before Hyperion could react, sending him flying.

Omega rays have extremely strong destructive power, and are designed to evaporate, erase, or transform any form of matter, whether biological or non-biological.

In the comics, it can even destroy an entire planet and kill Superman!

However, while Darkseid's strength in this world was limited, the Omega Ray's strength was considerable. It directly knocked Hyperion away and severely injured him. The area where he was hit was mangled and his internal organs were flung out, leaving Hyperion so weak that he fainted.
