Chapter 125 Warhammer - The Origins of Warhammer
Chapter 125 Warhammer - The Origins of Warhammer
It took Dio and his companions only half a day to return to Terra.
Once again marveling at the irregularity of time in this world, Dio sensed a surge of psychic energy rushing towards him as he approached Terra.
Dio sensed that it was the Emperor's psychic energy and did not resist, connecting with it.
One minute later, after landing, Dio led Hela and Lemanrus to the Terra Palace.
“It seems I’m late. Your other three sons have already returned.” Dio saw the four people beside the emperor.
First Primarch Ryan Al Johnsen.
The Seventh Primarch, Roger Dorn.
The twelfth primordial, Angron.
The Thirteenth Primitive: Robert Guilliman.
The four looked at Dio and Hela beside him, as well as Lemanrus standing quietly behind them, with puzzled expressions.
“Children, this is also your brother,” the Emperor said, pointing to Lemanrus and addressing Rogdorath and Angron.
Angron's expression was calm as he gave Lemanrus a gentle smile.
Rogdorn nodded, expressionless.
The emperor then introduced Lemanrus to his other brothers.
The Emperor then dismissed them under the pretext of allowing the Primarchs to study, though he did leave Ryan and Guilliman behind.
Dio also let Hela go with the others to the room the emperor had reserved for her in the palace. Of course, if she didn't want to go, she could go to the army camp to play.
Emperor: "Let me introduce you. This is Dio, my ally and the other head of the Empire's double-headed eagle."
Dio's expression turned strange: "What do you mean by another head? What you're saying is a bit scary."
The emperor chuckled and didn't continue.
Lane and Guilliman bowed and said, "Greetings, Mr. Dio."
Dio waved his hand to indicate that he had received it.
The Emperor then joined forces with Dio to form a strong psionic barrier before turning to Ryan and Guilliman and saying, "Now, continue with the rest."
Ryan and Guilliman were used to it, but they didn't know that Dio had such strong psychic abilities, so they couldn't help but take another look at him.
Ryan and Guilliman exchanged a glance before Guilliman spoke: "That was the fourth hundredth of the 43rd millennium of the human empire. The space necromancers have fully revived and are launching a fierce attack on the human empire."
The appearance of the Necromancers caused the Greenskins to turn their guns on them, and the Human Empire temporarily lost an enemy.
Later, during an Eye of Fear, Llane encountered Korakx, who had become a demigod. He dragged Dorn out, and we learned that when Dorn was ambushed after his boarding, Tzeentch dragged him into the Warp and handed him over to Khorne. However, Dorn struggled too fiercely and lost an arm.
In the days that followed, Dorn was tormented by Khorne. Although he wasn't brainwashed or subdued, he spent countless years in the Warp, constantly repeating, "I am Roguedorn." He didn't know how to be treated and was left there until Father became a god, yet he never recovered.
At this point, Guilliman glanced at the Emperor without making a sound, noticing that the Emperor was breathing steadily with his eyes closed, but his clenched fists indicated that his heart was not at peace.
Guilliman continued, "After that, the battle between the green-skinned orcs and the space necromancers went on and on for countless years. The Tyranids were affected, and at least half of them died in the process. Among them, the Death Guard, a force specifically designed to deal with the Tyranids, was also affected and wiped out."
The Tau people, in order to protect themselves, even planned to form an alliance with us. I pretended to agree and made them the vanguard.
We worked for another thousand years or so. During this time, the Dark Eldar discovered that the Necromancers had reappeared and came out to help. Our forces were almost completely wiped out in the battle against the Necromancers. Khan died in battle, Ruth died in battle, and Korax dragged the Silent King of the Necromancers into the warp and never came out again.
The Ravenguard's think tanks say they can't find Corax because they've detected Corax's psionic aura throughout the warp.
We later discovered that all the warbands within the Empire that had inherited the Legion name had been wiped out, including the Ultramarines' sub-warbands, with only less than five warbands at full strength surviving.
The Empire was severely weakened, and the Eldar turned against us. We struggled to hold on until the thirty-fourth year of the 46th millennium. The Necromancers and Tyranids fought their way towards Tyrell. The Eldar nearly wiped out our Astartes forces, leaving only a significant number of Astragalus troops. Llane dragged the Eldar into the Warp during the battle and disappeared without a trace. It was also in this year that, Father, you became a god.
After saying that, Guilliman and Lane looked at the Emperor, who remained silent with his eyes closed.
As for Dio, all he could think about now was "Holy shit!"
To be honest, it's definitely a Warhammer world; the overall tone is one of despair.
However... humanity disappeared so quickly, it should be a bad ending.
Then Dio seemed to remember something and looked at Guilliman: "By the way, Smurf, you never awakened your warp nature even until you died?"
Guilliman's expression turned strange upon hearing this. He didn't want to answer, but remembering the Emperor's words, he secretly glanced at the Emperor and said with a hint of resentment, "I was standing on the front line guarding Terra. At that time, I had already touched the feeling that was about to awaken, but now..."
As he spoke, he glanced at the Emperor again.
The Emperor opened his eyes and looked at Guilliman without saying a word, but it was as if his gaze spoke volumes.
Guilliman paused, then lowered his head, avoiding looking at the Emperor.
Then Ryan added, "After I took the Silent King away, I banished him to the warp, because the space undead can't sense psionic energy. I figured they weren't very resistant to psionic energy, so I planned to banish him, but..."
Ryan shook his head and didn't continue.
"But now I realize that taking the Silent King away didn't have much of an impact on the Necromancers of Space. Or maybe it did, but not as much as I thought."
After he finished speaking, only a silent stillness remained in the room.
After a long silence, the emperor sighed.
"You have done your best, children. Being able to return to this point in time shows that you are selfless and have the well-being of humanity and the Empire at heart."
"With your help, we can avoid a lot of unnecessary trouble this time." As he spoke, the emperor patted the two men on the shoulders.
Ryan and Guilliman knelt down excitedly.
Long live humanity! Long live the Empire!
"For the Empire!"
The emperor then excitedly helped the two up and solemnly introduced Dio.
When Ryan and Guilliman learned that Dio could travel through the multiverse, their first reaction was disbelief. However, trusting the Emperor, they quickly asked Dio if there was any way to save humanity in other universes.
Dio chuckled and opened the door, sending them both to Earth in the Marvel universe.
"I know you don't believe me, but it doesn't matter. This is the headquarters of GW Company. If you want to know anything, go in and ask." After saying that, Dio closed the door and left, not caring about what would happen to them.
Then Dio looked at the Emperor.
"Don't tell me you're going to punish me just because the two of us, commanders of the Imperial Guards, fought a battle?"
