Chapter 112 Christmas Chapter 1
Chapter 112 Christmas Chapter 1
In late December, Namimori Junior High School began its winter break. Tsunayoshi was planning to go to the amusement park with his friends to fulfill the promise he had made with Rambo and Koharu in the future tense, but he turned around and found that his younger brother was looking at flights to the UK.
Tsunayoshi: [?_??]
"I'm sorry, brother. I promised Master that I would go to England to spend Christmas with her." Miyin put her hands together in front of her face and said apologetically, "Except for the time we met on the day of your inheritance ceremony, I haven't seen her for three years, so... I'm sorry!"
Having said that, Tsunayoshi had no choice but to find another time to make an appointment: "It's okay, Xiao Mi, you can go to the amusement park anytime. Christmas comes once a year, it would be nice to go and accompany your master."
Miyin whimpered and threw herself into her brother's arms. Yan Zhen, who was standing beside them, just watched the two brothers being so affectionate, feeling a little envious for some reason... His sister Zhenmei had never been so clingy to him!
That night, Miyin boarded a plane to the UK with her small suitcase and a backpack.
Compared to the past when only the swords saw him off, this time there was an older brother in the team. He had been nagging Tsunayoshi to take good care of himself since he got on the bus, and he kept on muttering all the way to the boarding gate. He was only going for three days, but he acted as if he was going to stay for a year. Reborn sat on Hua Xiliu's shoulders and said goodbye to him calmly. After all, he was used to it after so many times.
"Have a bon voyage. Remember to give my regards to everyone." Reborn said to him with a smile.
"Okay." Miyin nodded in agreement, then looked at her brother clinging to her with tears in his eyes, and sighed softly in her heart, "Brother, you can send me a message anytime, don't worry."
"Then tell me when you land." Tsunayoshi hugged him reluctantly, feeling that the two brothers were rarely together.
"I know." Miyin patted his back and said goodbye to him, "See you in three days~"
They set off at 8:30 in the evening, but landed in the UK at midnight. Miyin, who had slept from beginning to end, yawned, rubbed his sore neck, left the passage with the crowd, and sent a message to Tsunayoshi about his safe landing. When he looked up, he found a brown-haired boy yawning in the crowd, holding a pick-up sign with his English name written on it.
"Yuli?" Miyin walked over quickly and asked in confusion, "Why are you here?"
"The master said you were coming to spend Christmas with her, so she asked me to pick you up at the airport." Ulysses' eyes lit up the moment he saw the other person, like a big dog wagging its tail.
"It seems that Hogwarts is indeed on holiday at this time..." Thinking back, Miyin said to herself, not having much impression.
"Let's go find the master." Ulysses took the suitcase naturally, put his arm around the other person's shoulder and left.
The car arranged by the Leslie family was parked outside the airport. The black body of the car was very inconspicuous in the dark night. It was only when the man in black waiting by the car spotted the two and greeted them that they noticed it. After all, Ulysses came here on his own and had no idea that Ofitina had made any arrangements.
About an hour later, the vehicle slowly drove into a manor, which was one of the properties owned by the Leslie family and usually used as the residence of their eldest daughter.
At the end of the manor, there was a brightly lit villa. A red figure was standing in front of the door. It was their master, Ofitina.
"Master." The two brothers greeted him politely after getting off the car.
"Well, it's good that we're here." Ofitina nodded to them and said in a light tone, "It's too late today, let's rest first."
"Okay, Master~" Miyin replied with a smile. Knowing his master's character well, he didn't mind his cold attitude at all.
He clearly cared about his two apprentices, but he still acted like a master. Otherwise, he wouldn't have stood outside the house in the middle of the night to greet them.
Compared to Miyin, who seldom came back, Ulysses, who lived in England, was much more familiar with the place. He found the other person's room with ease and helped carry the luggage in, then returned to his own room next door. Before leaving, he said good night in a good mood.
Although he had slept all the way on the plane, Mi Yin was still exhausted and went to bed directly after washing up. He wanted to sleep until noon, but unfortunately his biological clock did not allow it. He woke up automatically after sleeping for a full time and looked at his phone. It was only a little after seven o'clock.
After washing up and dealing with the messages on his phone, Miyin changed his clothes and went downstairs. He found Ofitina sitting in the restaurant with a tablet in her arms, handling matters. There was a cup of steaming coffee on the table, and she had just eaten a half-eaten sandwich in her hand. When she noticed his arrival, she just looked up and then gave a look to the housekeeper waiting next to her.
"Good morning, Master." Miyin greeted with a smile and pulled out a chair to sit opposite him.
"Good morning." Ofitina replied calmly, swiped a few times on the tablet, turned off the screen and put it aside.
The housekeeper brought out an identical breakfast from the kitchen, except that the coffee was replaced with milk. Miyin accepted it and took a sip, it was the long-lost sweetness.
"Where's Eleanor?" Miyin asked incoherently after taking a bite of the sandwich.
"In Carlisle, we'll leave soon." Ofitina replied, taking a sip of coffee.
The Keith family's territory is a little far from here. If they had gone there directly last night, they would probably not be able to sleep until three or four in the morning. Therefore, they temporarily stayed here and would go there officially today.
The two of them just sat there in silence, with only Miyin's occasional questions and Ofitina's faint responses. When Ulysses got up and went downstairs, he looked at the scene in the restaurant and felt inexplicably touched, as if he had returned to the time when he was studying here a few years ago.
"Good morning, Yuli." Miyin, who was drinking milk from a cup, smiled at him.
"Good morning, Master, Will." Ulysses picked up the sandwich that had just been served on the table and took a big bite.
Ofitina nodded slightly at him as a response, picked up her phone and sent a message to her husband. The other party replied quickly, and the lively words made her brows soften a lot.
At nine o'clock sharp, the three of them set off on time. Miyin still carried his suitcase and small backpack, thinking about the gifts to bring for everyone. Most of them were for Eleanor. After all, the little girl had suffered a lot in the future and had been running around with them. He could only bring her more gifts in this era.
After about two hours, around eleven o'clock, the vehicle finally entered the base of the Keith family. Compared with the temporary stopover, this manor serving as the headquarters was much larger. The adult and the child who received the news had already sat by the fountain waiting. Their identical expressions showed that they were father and daughter. When they saw the vehicle approaching, they all stood up to greet it.
"Mom~" Eleanor immediately rushed over, and was then gently picked up by Ofitina. The little girl greeted the two brothers beside her obediently, "Brother Yuli, Brother Will, hello~"
"Hello, Eleanor." The two responded with a smile, and Ulysses even reached out and pinched the little girl's soft and tender face.
Carlisle looked at his wife and daughter with a loving face, and he was very caring towards the two young men who were his wife's apprentices.
"Welcome to Keith Manor, Will, Yuri."
