Chapter 125: Level 4 Zombie Irena
Chapter 125: Level 4 Zombie Irena
"Well... next... it's our turn? Great, the fourteenth floor." Leila and Tok said together as they looked at the information on the panel.
Tok said excitedly: "Thank you for your guidance, big sister. It was amazing that you cleared out all the monsters on a floor quickly last time. Can you teach me a few more tricks?" He looked at Leila expectantly, with admiration in his eyes.
Layla smiled awkwardly, groaning inwardly. She had no idea what had happened. She only remembered that she had done something remarkable after losing consciousness, but the details were hazy. Many people now regarded her as a powerful figure, but she knew she was just a weak scholar, completely incompetent at fighting. Faced with Tok's enthusiastic expectations, she didn't know how to respond.
"Uh... well... actually, I don't really understand." Leila scratched her head a little embarrassedly and tried to explain, "Maybe the emergency situation at the time stimulated my potential. But if you want me to teach you any techniques, I really don't know how to do it."
Toke blinked, obviously disappointed, but still said firmly: "It's okay, big sister, then tell me your experience, even if it's just a little bit."
Leila nodded helplessly, thinking she could only do her best. She began to recall the details of the battle, trying to sum up some experience that might be useful.
Although she herself is not good at fighting, as a scholar, she has keen observation and analytical skills.
Perhaps these experiences could be of some help to Tok. So, Laila carefully told Tok everything she remembered, including the monsters' weaknesses, attack methods, and coping strategies.
Tok listened with great interest, asking questions from time to time, and Laila patiently answered them. Before they knew it, they had arrived at the entrance to the fourteenth floor.
Toke: "I feel like after coming to this special secret place with my brother, I've become much smarter and stronger. If I encounter bad guys in the future, I can handle them on my own."
The fourteenth floor was empty, surrounded by zombies lying on the ground on all four sides. They had lost their ability to move.
In the distance... a white-haired girl in a black robe was huddled together in a tiny place. The scene was very strange.
"The blessing of the stars..." Leila was rather timid, so she quickly turned on the shield, which made her feel safe.
"Is that a person over there?" Tok looked at Leila. He didn't dare to go over. The gloomy atmosphere, coupled with the hoarse voice whispering there, was exactly the same as the development of a ghost story he had heard.
"This is not the world I belong to... magic... magic... zombies... the other me..." She stood up crookedly, as if she noticed the guests coming to this floor: "Destroy them all... You can go back..." She noticed Leila and Tok, and murderous intent immediately erupted.
King Hao stared through the screen at the pale, purple-eyed, vacant white-haired zombie. He wondered, "Irena turned into a zombie? System, how did you manage to kidnap the witch from 'Witch's Journey'?" I can't even imagine what else is outrageous on the next floors.
Leila reacted quickly, using ice to condense an elemental shield to protect Tok behind her, staring ahead warily: "Be careful, she's coming!" However, the anticipated fierce battle did not occur. The only zombie on that floor took only two steps before falling to the ground.
Tok and Leila looked at each other, speechless. Was this the only seemingly unintelligent girl on the 14th floor? Even though she had become a zombie, Leila felt that this might be the end of her nights. It was too much of a joke to have her defending the floor boss.
"Ah... clear... the enemies..." The girl struggled to her feet again, holding a branch in her hand and swinging it upwards. As she moved, water suddenly splashed beneath her feet. Within seconds, the water gathered into a massive wave, its power comparable to a tsunami at sea.
Seeing this, Leila danced her hands quickly. She had to put on several more layers. The power of the ice element became stronger under her control, making the elemental shield indestructible.
Seeing that the water elemental attack was ineffective, the zombie girl's eyes flashed with anger. She slammed her hands on the ground, and a stream of scorching flames erupted from the ground, rushing straight towards Leila and Tok: "We can only go back after we clear it out..."
Leila's expression was solemn. She quickly mobilized the power of ice element, forming an ice wall in front of her, trying to block the invasion of the flames. However, the power of the flames was beyond imagination, and the ice wall began to show signs of melting.
Tok took out his Iron Armor Transformer and transformed into the Guardian of the Golden Ruins. He knocked the zombie girl to the ground with one punch, and her head was also cut off.
After a long while, she raised her head, dragged her twisted body, and cast a strange spell. Tok's armor was immediately ineffective, and he had to hide behind Leila.
"Burn...burn..." The zombie girl released powerful fire magic that swept over.
"It's over... It's all over..." Before she was defeated, Leila was so nervous that she fainted, and then her hidden second personality awakened.
"I still have to deal with the troubles..."
A burst of extreme cold erupted, colliding with the flames. For a moment, heat and cold intertwined, and the air was filled with a large amount of water vapor. The zombie girl was knocked back several steps by this powerful force, but she quickly regained her balance and prepared to attack again.
At this moment, Leila rushed out and interrupted the spell with an elbow strike, and then a series of smooth little combos beat her so hard that she couldn't move.
"So powerful!" Tok was stunned. The other party could obviously use such powerful magic, but Sister Leila actually beat him with her bare hands.
"Hmm?" Leila asked, realizing something. She tried to inject elemental energy into the zombie girl. She noticed she was beginning to humanize, and she figured out the answer to clearing this level.
Sure enough, after the evolution was completed, the device appeared.
Toke was thoughtful. "So this sister is in a similar situation to the previous Gouda Takeshi?"
Leila nodded and placed the ink chip into the device. As the chip was inserted, the entire floor began to change.
The originally dilapidated walls, doors and windows were different from the last time. This time, the building was covered with a layer of colorful blocks. These blocks seemed to have consciousness and quickly spread across the entire floor, making everything look brand new.
In a blink of an eye, this floor of the skyscraper is no longer shabby, but full of magical atmosphere.
