Chapter 158 Treating Wounds

Chapter 158 Treating Wounds

"Jiang Man, you are lying. You have fallen in love with him." He pointed directly at her disguise. "If you want me to let him go, that's fine. You have to spend the night with me." He put forward the conditions with a distorted face.

Jiang Man looked at him in disbelief, finding it difficult to reconcile him with the appearance in his memory.

"What did you say just now?" she asked with difficulty.

"I said, if you spend one night with me, I will let Su Heng go, otherwise, forget it." He leaned back in his chair, his posture leisurely, the corners of his mouth slightly raised, waiting for Jiang Man's answer.

Jiang Man gritted her teeth and sneered after a moment. She walked closer to him and said, "I thought you were still the same as before, but now it seems I was wrong." After that, she turned around and glanced at him out of the corner of her eye, "Now, I have to get to know you again, Mr. Lu." She respectfully called him Mr. Lu, and this "Mr. Lu" meant that everything in their past had disappeared.

Afterwards, Jiang Man left resolutely without looking back.

Lu Ziyin sat alone in the chair, his eyes narrowed slightly, and he extinguished the cigarette in his hand. "Jiang Man, one day, you will willingly submit to me. I promise you."

When Jiang Man returned home, Xuanxuan was already sleeping peacefully at Aunt Yang's house, and Jiang Lu had not returned yet.

She was alone at home and ate something quickly.

He lay on the bed, reading the market report he had carefully prepared.

As she watched, her abdomen suddenly twitched, and she frowned in pain, and a warm current flowed out from under her body.

She sat up suddenly and rushed to the bathroom.

Sure enough, her period had arrived. She opened the cabinet and found that her usual sanitary napkins were all used up. She covered her stomach and decided to buy some spare ones while the store downstairs was still open.

When she was returning home after buying the things, a group of ferocious-looking people passed by her.

She lowered her head in fear and quickened her pace.

Just as I was passing by the entrance of the community, I saw a tall and thin figure leaning against the flower bed, looking extremely weak.

A strong smell of blood hit my nose.

She lowered her head and staggered closer, only to find that the person lying on the ground was Chen Hao.

She quickly squatted down and patted his face gently, "Chen Hao." She called softly.

Chen Hao, with blood all over his face, barely opened his eyes and fainted unconsciously.

"Hey, don't sleep." Jiang Man shouted anxiously, looking around, but found that no one could help.

She supported Chen Hao and was hesitating whether to call 120. Suddenly, an idea came to her mind. She looked at Chen Hao and thought about the hooligans outside the door.

Jiang Man bit her lips tightly, determined not to alarm those people, otherwise, with the way they acted, Chen Hao would be in great danger.

Thinking of this, she supported Chen Hao and walked towards home step by step.

After returning home, Jiang Man skillfully took out cotton balls, gauze and alcohol.

If she hadn't been worried that Xuanxuan would get hurt, she wouldn't have prepared all these. It was really thanks to Xuanxuan.

She helped Chen Hao up. Perhaps because she was not skilled enough, the unconscious Chen Hao frowned in pain and looked miserable because of her rough behavior.

Seeing this, Jiang Man swallowed and apologized softly, "I'm sorry, please bear with it."

She helped Chen Hao lean against the head of the bed and found that some of the blood stains had dried.

She filled a basin with water, knelt on the ground, and carefully cleaned his wound, not sure if her method was correct.

Because of the pain, Chen Hao opened his eyes tiredly and saw Jiang Manzheng carefully treating his wound.

He thought he was dreaming and smiled at himself.

"Are you awake?" A clear female voice sounded in his ears.

Chen Hao widened his eyes in surprise, "Is it really you?" His voice was hoarse and contained a hint of disbelief.

"Who else could it be if not me?" Jiang Man blinked in confusion, "How did you get so injured?"

Chen Hao's lips were dry and chapped. "Maybe he went out to cause trouble and stole someone else's girlfriend, and now he's here to settle the score with me." He joked in a hoarse voice.

Jiang Man rolled his eyes at him and said, "Boring."

Hearing this, Chen Hao shook his head and smiled, "You don't believe it?"

Jiang Man stood up, looked at the basin dyed red by the water, and gave him a helpless look, "Next time, braid something more decent."

After saying that, she went to the bathroom.

Looking at her back, Chen Hao lowered his head, and an inexplicable emotion surged in his heart, a warm feeling, which he did not dislike.

After dealing with a basin of blood, Jiang Man walked out and looked at Chen Hao, "This is the highlight."

"I've never done this before, nor have I learned how, but disinfecting first and then applying the medicine should be the right procedure, right?" Jiang Man said, glancing at him. "Alcohol disinfection might be a little painful, just bear with it."

Chen Hao leaned against the headboard, not caring at all, "Sister-in-law, don't worry, I'm a man after all, how can I not bear this little pain?"

"Then just bear with it." Jiang Man poured alcohol on a cotton ball to disinfect him.

Chen Hao frowned, then relaxed his brows slightly, closed his eyes, and ignored everything.

Jiang Man knew it would be painful, she could even see the white foam when the alcohol touched the wound.

Finally, after treating all his wounds, Jiang Man breathed a sigh of relief, with beads of sweat on his head due to nervousness.

Chen Hao looked at her nervous expression, and the pain in his body instantly eased a lot. He smiled and said, "Since you are so nervous about me, would you consider throwing yourself into my arms?"

Seeing that he was still in the mood to joke, Jiang Man sighed, "Don't be so unruly."

"I'm serious." He leaned closer to her, "Do you want to dump me and try with me?"

Jiang Man glanced at him and smiled, "Does your wound still need bandaging?"

Chen Hao looked at the wounds on his body and nodded.

Jiang Man picked up the gauze and smiled slightly.

After a while, Chen Hao's exaggerated screams were heard from the bedroom, one after another.

"Do you still dare to talk nonsense?"

After finishing all this, Jiang Man sat on the ground tiredly, his eyelids feeling as heavy as if they weighed a thousand pounds.

"Jiang Man, come up and have a rest." Chen Hao suggested softly.

Jiang Man waved his hand, his voice full of sleepiness, "No need."

She forced herself to stand up, staggered towards the living room, fell headfirst onto the sofa, and soon fell into a deep sleep.

Late at night, there was a faint movement in the bedroom. Jiang Man rubbed his sleepy eyes and heard a hoarse voice repeatedly murmuring, "Water..."

Jiang Man walked towards the bedroom in confusion and turned on the light. He saw Chen Hao lying on the bed, his face as pale as paper. "Water..." he said it again vaguely.

Jiang Man frowned, feeling something was wrong, and quickly walked to the bedside. "Chen Hao, what's wrong with you?" she called anxiously.

However, Chen Hao did not respond, but just repeated his request for water in a confused manner, as if he was entangled in some dream.

"Wait for me." Seeing Chen Hao's appearance, Jiang Man was anxious and hurried to the kitchen to pour a glass of water. "The water is here." She carefully helped Chen Hao up.

Fortunately, Chen Hao still retained a trace of consciousness and was able to drink water.
