Chapter 989 - 988: Longhua Grand Hotel

Although the gaze exchange between Chu Ge and Qin's mother lasted only a few seconds, in just those short moments, this simple exchange of glances stirred the hearts of several people.Needless to say, Chu Ge and Qin's mother were involved; on the side, Qin Ruojing, Qin Ruoying, and Qin Yan were also nervously holding their breath, afraid that Qin's mother might do something they did not wish to happen.

After serving tea, changing the form of address, and receiving red envelopes, this home ceremony was nearly complete. Friends and family snapped a few photos, and the photographer captured some small programs before everyone proceeded downstairs to the next, final, and most important part—the wedding ceremony at the hotel.

The convoy set off once again, targeting the well-known Longhua Grand Hotel in Beijing.

Chu Ge and Qin Ruojing sat in the lead car, contemplating their future lives, and debating whether to go on a honeymoon and where to go if they did. Before long, they were approaching the vicinity of Longhua Grand Hotel.

"Hey? What are those people looking at?"

When they were just a hundred meters away from Longhua Grand Hotel, the driver of the lead car noticed that nearly everyone was looking up towards the sky. Seeing this, those who hadn't looked up began to follow suit, raising their heads to see where everyone else was looking, and mumbled in curiosity.

As these four six-axis drones quickly ascended, the three red with yellow character banners came into everyone's view.

The banner on the drone to the left read: "Wishing you a happy marriage, a long and auspicious union."

The banner on the drone to the right read: "Wishing you a speedy birth of a noble child, eternal bond."

The two drones in the middle flew directly above the festive red "囍," with a banner saying: "Congratulations Chu Ge, Qin Ruojing."

When the drones formed the "囍," the crowd was already full of admiration. Now, with these three banners unveiled, cheers and whistles erupted around.

Their gazes lingered on the drone in the air for a few seconds, then Chu Ge and Qin Ruojing looked into each other's eyes simultaneously, their looks filled with happiness.

Hand in hand, the two of them stepped into the Longhua Grand Hotel, took the elevator to the third floor, where they were about to hold their wedding.

As the elevator doors opened, instead of heading directly to the banquet hall where today's host along with Mr. and Mrs. Qin Yan were arranging things, they went to a spacious suite reserved for the bride and groom to change and rest, planning to exchange a few more words about the upcoming wedding.

"Wifey, how are you feeling right now? Nervous?" With just the two of them in the large suite, Chu Ge leaned against a chair, exhaled deeply, and asked with a smile.

Qin Ruojing thought for a moment and smiled, "To be honest, I don't really feel anything, just a bit hot, and these shoes aren't particularly comfortable, my feet hurt a bit, could you rub them for me?"

Chu Ge nodded, so Qin Ruojing put her feet on his legs. He helped her take off those red high-heeled wedding shoes and gently massaged the places where the straps left red marks on her ankles.

Chu Ge grinned widely, earning a big Byakugan from Qin Ruojing, "Today's our wedding day, can't you say something nice? Can't you just say you definitely will?"

Chu Ge scratched his nose, smiling even more brightly, "Alright, alright, even if it's thirty or fifty years of marriage, how I treat you now is how I'll treat you then, is that good enough?"

Qin Ruojing blinked, "Honestly?"

"To be honest, a little bit. Are you sure everything is going as planned later? This really is quite risky."

"Of course I'm sure. Never thought you could be so worried about everything? This isn't like you."

Qin Ruojing teased Chu Ge with a face full of disdain, to which he shrugged, "Come on, be fair. I'm only being cautious because I'm worried about you and your sister, okay?"

Qin Ruojing chuckled lightly, "Alright, I know. My husband is the best. But little Ying is probably about to come in, so let's drop this topic here. We've come this far, there's no backing out now. How could we let down little Ying's expectations, and her feelings for you?"

Seeing that Chu Ge wanted to say something more, Qin Ruojing shook her head at him, "That's enough, little Ying's about to come in, don't babble nonsense in front of her."

Chu Ge flicked Qin Ruojing's foot slightly, "Don't worry, I know what I'm doing. Do you really think I'm that dumb?"
